Two decades in three localities

Warren and Starlena Thomas started the company in 2006 as RMT Property Management, LLC, renamed RMT Investments, LLC that December. The property side came first — the construction company came about a year later, built to serve it.

Starlena is a licensed Virginia real estate agent who has spent close to fifteen years buying and restoring blighted property across Richmond, Henrico, and Chesterfield, with a focus on affordable housing.

We buy, renovate, and hold. Renovation runs through RMT Construction & Development Group, the sister company that shares our building on Old Bon Air Road. We don't flip and we don't sell to a fund — we manage what we own for the long run.
